31. toward /tɔ:rd/ : ~쪽으로, ~로 향하여, ~에 면하여, 경[무렵, 쯤],

~을 생각하여

32. under /ʌ́n.dər/ : (opp) over ~의 (바로) 아래에[의, 를, 로],

~의 밑에, ~덮이어. (~의) 영향을 받아

영어에서 under 50 =below [less than] 50은 ‘

50이 안 되는’의 뜻으로서 50은 제외되지만,

우리말의 ‘50 이하’는 50까지를 포함시키므로 뜻이 불분명함.

33. until /ən.tíl/ :「때의 계속」~까지, ~이 되기까지, 

~에 이르기까지 줄곧

34. up /ʌp/ : (낮은 위치·지위 따위에서) ~을 올라가(서), 

~을 올라간 곳에(서),

~의 높은 쪽으로 [에(서)]. [syn.] ⇨ on, (어떤 방향을 향(向)하여)

~을 따라[끼고] (along), (말하는 이로부터) ~의 위[저] 쪽에[으로]

* toward와 towards는 같은 단어이나 용도에 따라 다르게 쓰는 경우도 있다.
