1. A student having one or both parents holding a nationality, not being South Korean as verified by an Alien Registration Card and a Korean Family Registry.
2. A student that has resided overseas, consecutively or non-consecutively for at least three years, 1095 days as verified by the ¡°Entry and Exit Certificate¡± issued by the Korean Immigration Department and having Korean parents. (Vacations, Trips, Camps, ETC., are excluded)

1. Completed KIS Application for Admission form.
2. Three recent 3x4 cm photos.
3. Proof of eligibility to attend a foreign school in Korea. (Please refer to our "Entrance Qualifications")
4. Mother, Father, Student passport copy + original verification on testing day.
5. Confidential, sealed letters of recommendation sent directly to KIS.
Please use the KIS confidential school recommendation form.
a. Elementary school applicants - one from current or most recent main classroom teacher.
b. Middle and High school applicants - one from a recent English teacher AND a teacher of your choice.
6. Official, sealed transcripts or report cards sent directly from the student's most recent schools attended.
a. Elementary school - past three years, including year in progress.
b. Middle and High school - past four years, including year in progress.
(Transcripts in a language other than English must be translated to English and the original must
be submitted with the translation. For high school transcripts, the translation must be certified by
a notary.)
7. Official results from most recent standardized tests
(e.g. Stanford 10, STAR, Iowa Test, Terra Nova, CAT, SSAT, PSAT, SAT, ACT) where applicable.
8. Applicant Questionnaire to be filled out by students in their own hand writing.
(For Middle and High School applicants only.)
9. Assessment of Student Health filled out by parents.
10. Bus Application Form. (Note: seats on buses are determined on a first come, first serve
basis. There is no guarantee of seats for late applicants.)
11. Medical History Form filled out by parents.
12. Report of Medical Exam filled out by a physician.
13. Parent Enrollment Agreement Form.
14. Refund Policy Agreement Form.
15. Validity Maintenance form.
16. Statement of holding non-Korean nationality.
